Mayor Mike Spano to Announce Donation of 600 Backpacks to MLK, Jr. Academy Students

Mayor Mike Spano will be joined by Yonkers Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Yazurlo, Dr. Kathy Reilly Fallon, Co-Founder and Chairwoman of Heavenly Productions Foundation, and members of the foundation on Friday, September 12th  at 10 am at the Martin Luther King Jr. Academy, 135 Locust Hill Avenue in Yonkers. The Mayor will announce to students, parents and teachers that Heavenly Productions Foundation is donating 600 backpacks along with a variety of school supplies to MLK, Jr. Academy students.

Former Knicks basketball player and current board member at Heavenly Productions Foundation, John Wallace, will donate basketballs to the school and present Mayor Spano and Principal Natalie Davy with a basketball.
